Creating a Design Pattern effect Pipes using filters and layers in Adobe PhotoShop
1) Create a new document the size you want, in my case is 700x300px. To begin let’s menu, Filter, Render, Clouds, and get something like this:
2) Now go back to the menu Filter, Blur, Radial Blur and put the values indicating the image:
3) Continue with Menu Filter, Pixelate, Mosaic. The values you select in this step will determine the size and number of pipes:
4) We continue with Menu Filter, Brush Strokes, Accented Edges:
5) And the last Filter, Stylize, Borders, Hajar Edges:
6) Finally, invert the layer by pressing Ctrl + I (Command + I):
7) As an optional step, you can change the tone of the pipes by pressing Ctrl + U (Command + U):
