Tutorials and brushes watercolor effects in Photoshop

Watercolor is a painting technique comprehensive for the infinity of shades can make a simple stroke. This technique requires skill in handling the Brush because we control every stroke depending on the amount of water in the same, that does not flow at will by the surface where applied. Similarly one of the virtues of watercolor is that if we act quickly we can continue treating it after application before it dries, so getting more out of our line.

Until recently, most thought that the computer could never make up for texture conferred on the role this painting technique. But as it has evolved the graphic editing softwareto increasingly more similarity we mimic the look of watercolor digitally. Illustrator, PhotoShop Patten and are three such programs that can create watercolor aspect of our work, so surprising that a few years ago we had not imagined.

How To use Fire Brush

Many are those who ask me daily how to use brushes.
We all know that the Brushes do not come with the colors of the element itself, so that after we apply some adjustments to look like this.
In this case I will explain quickly how to make the fire alive. Here I leave some Brushes Download fire for practice:

Step 1
We started by opening a new document with black background (better looks is where the fire). The size is a choice of each. In this case, I will open one of 1100 x 550 px.
Create a new layer and then load the brush fire between our default brushes, select white as foreground color and the Brush tool we dump on the canvas element.

Step 2
Create a new layer of Hue and Saturation adjustment and began to test combinations. In this case I used the following:

But try one thing. Before putting these values, give direct Ok. Go to layers panel and change the blending mode to “Color Dodge”. Now make double click on the adjustment layer in question (the icon black / white) in order to re-enter the setting window. Check the box color and thus to make adjustments so we will see more real color on the element dump.

This is a good result. But it’ll add a 3rd step because it always comes to the very end and it’s always good to know that we can test if you have not convinced us that we see.
Step 3
In case you still do not have a good result, I suggest you try the following. Double layer by fire and we put on above the rest, should be top. Then change the blending mode of this layer Overlay.

As you can see the flames now have more life, more intensity. That’s why I recommend always try combinations of this style in order to find what you seek. They can add another layer with another blending mode such as strong light and a bit down the opacity of that layer … or can make other adjustments of hue and saturation when combined with the latter probably fits. Finally, I leave to the imagination of each one of you.
For inspiration to bump this, I left a Top 15 tutorials with fire effects. If not all deserve to be in the rankings, but if we must recognize that there are more than a good one.

Always useful to have on hand, even though I already downloaded a lot of PhotoShop Brushes, I’m always going to go lower.
There are unique sites with different Brushes and other utilities for this program design par excellence.
To install just extract the files must:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe PhotoShop CS3\Presets\Brushes
Always check that your version of PhotoShop is right for the Brush as they want to download the newer versions do not work for old.

Is a gallery with 350 brushes for download. It also has a particular style between dark and angelic. You need to register to download but I think it’s worth more than anything else for variety.

13. Couleur Rouge Chez Alice:

Contains 41 sets of realistic brushes, from old cars to coffee stains.

14. Tom Ledin:

A very simple site with 41 original sets of brushes, with a variety of issues from Celtic tribal ships to planes. No direct previews what is to enable pop ups to view them, but I think it can become useful.

15. DeviantArt:

For those who use such tools DeviantArt is a fixture in any consultation. A great collection.

16. Miss M:

A collection of 77 sets, fairly simple to download.

17. V-Brush

hey are over 160 brushes for download. She only calls for the inclusion of appropriations. Very good.
